Wenger Wants Nathaniel Clyne As Sagna Replacement

Sagna is now the latest player to join the list of growing Arsenal rebels. He believed to be upset with the way Arsenal sold Alex Song to Barcelona.

Last week, he questioned Arsenal board’s ambition in an interview,

Could Sagna follow the steps of Song and RVP ?

“Everyone was expecting RVP to leave, but Alex Song, that was a surprise and we are sad,”

“I don’t understand what happened there.”

“It is a huge loss for the club. When you see two of the best players from last season leave, you ask a lot of questions. I understand why the fans are upset.”

“It hurts to watch former Arsenal teammates (Nasri & Clichy) lifting the title with Manchester City last season”, he said.

Sources close to the club believes that Wenger is aware of the situation with Sagna and already tried to land Van der Wiel in summer. But PSG bought him.

Wenger is also a long term admirer of Nathaniel Clyne of Southampton who only recently joined them from Crystal Palace. But still a bid of around 10 million pounds would tempt Saints to sell Clyne in January.

Please AW don’t look replacement yet Sagna is a human and have right to express his opinion, is left for AW to make him understand his plans and vision and at least make his blue print known to some of the older players in the team so them in turn can relate to the young once, the way AW is going about it now by looking for a replacement is sending bad signal, it’s as if the our players are not allowed to speak up their mind then how will give in their best on the pitch and will not want to leave or see their team mates that left as a good move. Please AW help stop our players from leaving be that father you have always been to them make them understand you plans and sometime listen to their ideas who knows what a free mind in a peaceful and understanding dressing room will produce in football pitch for the duration of 90 mins. Clyne would be the perfect replacement of sagna but clyne would face stiff competition from jenkinson as every arsenal fan aware that arsenal is famous for injury prone to player so clyne would get chance to play

I’m getting frustrated with players saying this sort of thing. It’s normally a precursor to them asking for a pay rise or looking for a move. He’s a good player, when he’s not crocked, but I don’t think players should step out of line when it can be damaging to moral. If it continues flog him, he’s 29 and going to be prone to injury anyway. We don’t want the camp unsettled. No one is bigger than the club and we have kept clean sheets without him so far.
