Liverpool who are struggling to find goals this season (except for the Norwich game), want to add Newcastle United player Demba Ba to their attacking armory in January.
The Senegal forward wants a pay rise from his current salary 50k pounds per week, but the club management (Newcastle United) do not want any contract negotiations at this time of the season. Sources close to Newcastle United hints that the club will not tolerate any more threats from Ba’s agent and now even ready to sell their top striker.
Ba’s agent Agent Alex Gontran warned,
“Since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, Demba doesn’t understand the management.”
“If the situation continues, we will look at other solutions.”
Ba has a 7.5 million pounds release clause and the Anfield club will look to use this to get him for a cheaper price.
