Premier League giants Manchester United suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in their last league game at the Emirates and are currently third now. The Red Devils must really improve their game now if they want to win the league title this term, as their domestic rivals Manchester City are going all guns blazing.
One way of improving results is to reinforce the quality of their squad on time, for which manager Louis van Gaal will try to add more stars in the January transfer window. Signing young French striker Anthony Martial has really helped their cause after he has had a superb start to life in England and if reports are true, the club are keen on adding yet another forward now.
The name being linked strongly now in recent speculations with the Dutch manager’s side is German World Cup winner Thomas Muller. Further, Christian Falk of the Bild has now stated that Bayern’s CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed that he received various offers for Muller, as confirmed by the Metro, from United’s Ed Woodward via email.
It seems now that the Bundesliga champions are tired of these offers for the man who already has 130 senior goals to his name.
