Bonatino And Neves To Start – Strongest 3-4-3 Wolves Line-Up To Face Fulham On Saturday

Predicted Wolves Line-up To Face Fulham In The EFL Championship

One bad day and one good day at the away office for Wolves but ultimately it’s ‘as you were’ after those rounds of games, with the West Midlands side sitting top of the Championship.

It looks as though they have the battling qualities as well as the ability, and must take advantage of an out of sorts Fulham on their home patch in front of the TV cameras on Friday night. It would be a dreadful disappointment were they not to come away from this one with three points and in fact, a win seems to be a minimum requirement here.

Their win at Norwich was an excellent result and a similar line-up to the one at Carrow Road is expected, though this time I do expect Nuno Espirito Santo to bring Helder Costa in from the start on the right-hand side.

The 3-4-3 formation, if we can call it that, could be in evidence again.

Team News

Phil Ofosu-Ayeh is the only injury in the camp, whilst Bright Enobakhare is pushing for a start after some decent performances off the bench.

Formation: 3-4-3

Manager: Nuno Espirito Santo

GK – John Ruddy

A clean sheet at his former club during midweek will have done little to hurt his confidence and another one here would be a real bonus.

CB – Ryan Bennett

Was drafted in during the week for Danny Batth and may well be called upon again.

Conor Coady

CB – Conor Coady

Coast is a quality centre-back and should get to start against Fulham, as a part of this 3-man backline.

CB – Willy Boly

Replaced Roderick and scored at Norwich. Should probably play again.

RWB – Matt Doherty

Although improvements can be made in this position, Doherty has slotted in really well.

LWB – Barry Douglas

Douglas should start as the left wing-back. He’d be itching to put in a good performance against Jokanovic’s Fulham side.

Barry Douglas

CM – Alfred N’Diaye

Was solid in midweek and may well partner Ruben Neves once more.

CM – Ruben Neves

The young Portuguese man is a potential superstar and should once again be employed to spray passes around to open up the Fulham defence.

RW – Helder Costa

May well start this game and could cause havoc in a rather disorganised defensive unit such as Fulham’s.

Diogo Jota

LW – Diogo Jota

Brilliant first season. Hopefully for their sake, he can stick around permanently as he is most certainly of Premier League quality.

ST – Leo Bonatini

Yet another goal in midweek for the Brazilian striker who is doing everything he can to make himself indespensible in the No.9 position. Looks booked for a 20-goal plus season in the league.
