It has been stated now by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger that midfield superstar Aaron Ramsey could be out for up to a month. Further, the Frenchman added that playing for Wales contributed to his recent hamstring injury in the Gunners’ 2-0 Champions League win over Bayern Munich on 20 October.
The 24-year-old attacker played the full 90 minutes against Watford on 17 October, after playing in a Euro qualifier with Andorra on 13 October. Too much football in such a short spell of time was the reason he got injured in the game at the Emirates and will be out of action, which would be a blow for the Premier League giants.
In a recent interview, when asked about his prized possession, Wenger stated, “The fact that he played against Andorra certainly cost Gareth Bale and him [Ramsey] as well.”
Speaking to the north London club’s official website, he also said that Ramsey could miss Wales’ friendly with Netherlands on 13 November. He also said, “He had a scan today, but he’s out. I believe he will be out until after the next international break.”
