Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is now taking the assistance of super-agent Jorge Mendes to sell Juan Cuadrado, according to a report from Valencia based newspaper Super Deporte. A change of ownership at the Spanish giants this week has seen Mendes become even influential at the club. Reports previously had suggested that Mendes helped Peter Lim buy the club and was also assisting him in transfers.
Also, Mendes represents the Blues boss and has made moves happen for the west London side in the past, especially for the deals between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
Super Deporte added that Mourinho has made a final decision that the 27 year old Colombian international is surplus to his requirements at Stamford Bridge and is willing to let him go in the summer.
The Premier League champions want Mendes to get them around €25m for Cuadrado, who failed to impress once again for Colombia at the Copa America in Chile, after a quiet start to life in England.
