2 Pacey Wingers Manchester United Could Target This January Including This PSG Speed Demon

Two Wingers Who Manchester United Can Look To Sign In January

Manchester United may have dropped a few points in the last few games but the start they have made to the current campaign sees them stand at 2nd place in the points table. They are 8 points off Manchester City who are at the top of the table and have a lot of catching up to do if they are to compete for the title this season.

Jose Mourinho will be moderately happy with the performances of his squad but will surely be looking to add some star names in January, who can help them reduce the gap between their City rivals. With the lack of a winger haunting them, it is one position Mourinho might prioritise and here are two wingers they should target in January:

Lucas Moura (PSG)

The Brazilian winger is easily one of the quickest and gifted attackers in the world of football at the moment but the amount of quality in the squad at the Parc des Princes has seen him fall out of favour, from the start of the previous season. With just 71 league minutes under his belt, Lucas has struggled to establish himself in the first-team but has a goal and an assist to show for, which shows us his quality.

At 25, he definitely deserves more time on the pitch and there is little chance that PSG will block an exit in January. So it does not come as a surprise that some of the biggest clubs in Europe are after him, including a few in England. Manchester United have been linked with a move for him and rightly so, as Lucas is one player that the Red Devils should definitely look to sign come January.

Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)

Though he is not an easy player to lure, the Chilean winger is inching towards an exit from the Emirates with cross-city rivals Manchester City reportedly leading the race to sign him. The lack of progress under Arsene Wenger has pushed the 28-year old to reject a contract extension with the Gunners and there is no reason why United should not be all over him in January.

He was one of the most productive players in Europe last season and if Mourinho can convince him to move to Old Trafford, it could turn out to be a game changer for the club. Their chances would go all the way and they’d be able to beat their rivals to the title come the end of the campaign.
