Burnley Are A Mid-Table Team But These 2 Players Could Leave The Club In The Summer

Sean Dyche’s Burnley have been decent this season, having picked up  8 points since the turn of the year. They fell to a painful loss against Swansea in the previous game but find themselves in 12th place in the points table, just a couple of points off of a place in the top half. They are expected to stay in the top flight for another season and the manager will hope to work on his squad to help him compete with the best next season. There have been some brilliant performances from the Clarets this season but Dyche might be losing one or maybe a couple of star players from the squad to the big clubs in the summer. He might also be looking to let go of players who have been underperforming this season. With the business end of the season almost upon us, let’s take a look at 2 players who are likely to leave Burnley:

Andre Gray:

The former Championship player of the year, Gray has been at the Turf Moor since the start of the previous season and was expected to help Burnley compete with the best this season in the Premier League. At just 25, he has shown enough promise to earn a place in the top clubs in the league. He wouldn’t be too expensive and hence his price should not be a problem for most clubs and his return of 9 goals and 2 assists in all competitions this season speaks for itself. The likes of Newcastle United and West Ham are also interested in his signature and Sean Dyche might find it hard to keep him at the club beyond this summer.

Andre Gray of Burnley.

Michael Keane:

The towering centre-back who has been exceptional for Burnley this season is also in danger of quitting the club this summer. Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are looking to improve on their defence and have been looking at some star players recently but Conte would be determined to add a player with previous experience in the league. At just 24, the English defender has already played for the biggest clubs in the league and has cemented a place in Sean Dyche’s side since his permanent move to the club last summer. He now has more than 80 appearances for the English outfit and is an experienced player who will come good at even the best clubs in the country. So surely, Keane will be a wanted man this summer.
