2 Players Who Could Massively Improve Everton Next Season In Their Fight For European Places

Everton

Two Players Who Can Make Everton Better Next Season

Ronald Koeman’s Everton look like they will miss out on a place in Europe as they are currently at 7th place, with just 58 points, having played 2 games more than Arsenal, who are placed 6th with 63 points. It is going to be a tough summer for Everton, as they are set to lose their top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku at the end of the season.

The squad, however, has shown decent progress this season and if Koeman can add some quality players to his squad at the end of the season, they have a great chance to compete with the best. However, they will need to spend big on more than one player to help them take the next step. Here are two such players who are sure to make Everton a force to reckon with next season:

Sandro Ramirez (Malaga)

Constantly linked with a move to Everton recently, the Spanish star is one of the most prolific goal scorers in Spain at the moment. He is playing for a struggling Malaga side and could be looking for an exit this summer and Ronald Koeman should be convinced that he is the right man for his side next season. With 16 goals and 4 assists to his name, Ramirez has been effective in front of goal and the Everton fans will hope that he replicates the form of Romelu Lukaku at the club. The former Barcelona man is still 21 and has a great future ahead of him and Everton would well be able to price him away from Malaga this summer.

Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal)

Though not an easy target to hit, Everton have also been linked with a move for Ramsey this summer. The Welsh international has been in serious form in the last couple of months for Arsenal but has generally been a source of frustration for the Emirates outfit. Wenger may spend big on another midfielder this summer and this might see the exit door open for Ramsey. He has just 2 goals and 3 assists to his name this season but at 26, he is sure to improve with time. Koeman could use Idrissa Gueye, Morgan Schneiderlin and Aaron Ramsey as the first-choice central midfield combo next season, which will send shivers down the spine of the teams in England. Ramsey’s experience in the Premier League could make a world of difference for the Goodison Park outfit next season.
