Three Stellar Signings Klopp Can Make With The £100m Transfer Chest

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are not too far away from qualifying for the Champions League next season and need positive results in the two games to finish the season strongly. The manager is already planning for life next season and is looking to add some of the best players in Europe to his squad, to help them compete with the elite next season.

However, they will have to break the bank to sign most of their top transfer targets but according to reports, that should not be a problem. Liverpool Echo journalist James Pearce says that the German tactician will be given more than £100m to spend this transfer window. “My guess would be around £120m/£130m but that figure would include sales,” Pearce told the Merseyside news outfit. So who can Liverpool target with this transfer kitty? Here are three stellar players the Reds should spend on this summer:

Virgil van Dijk (Southampton)

The Dutch defender has cemented his place in the league as one of the best in his position and is wanted by a host of Premier League clubs this summer. He is a genuine target for Liverpool as they are desperate to find a centre-back to partner Joel Matip at the back. Van Dijk could cost close to £50m if reports are to be believed but with Liverpool’s new transfer kitty, it should hardly be a problem for them. Surely, Van Dijk is one signing that Liverpool should look to complete this summer.

Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

The French striker has been one of the most prolific goal scorers in Europe for more than a couple of seasons now. He has been in stellar form for Lyon this season in Ligue1 and in Europe and is a wanted man in England. Arsenal are also desperate for an attacker and want Lacazette this summer but Liverpool are now in a position where they can lure him to Anfield, provided they qualify for the Champions League. With money not being a problem, Lacazette could be the one to solve Liverpool’s goal scoring issues against the smaller clubs.

Isco (Real Madrid)

The Spanish midfielder has been frustrated with the lack of playing time at the Bernabeu and with the possibility of Zinedine Zidane planning for a squad overhaul at the end of the season, Isco could be ready for a move away from the club this summer. He will reportedly be offered a new contract but Liverpool can meet his valuation and his wages. With the promise of regular football, they might be able to lure the 25-year old to Anfield this summer. Surely, Isco would turn Liverpool into world beaters.

I think all 3 signings would be fantastic!!!

Van Dijk looked immense before his injury, a strong, mobile powerful center back

Lacazette I’ve been a massive fan the last 3 or 4 years. Has everything electric pace, prolific, clinical lethal finisher in and out of the box, can score with both feet, has great linkup play and can influence the game in the wide positions aswell making very fluid and mobile, unpredictable and presses well. He can be our next Torres/Suarez player.

Isco has been of good form of late however seems to be a bit part player when everyone is fit. At Malaga he was awesome and many touted him as the next Iniesta. I don’t think he’s completely unlocked his true ability at Real cause they have so many superstars. He has great feet, vision, great passer of the ball, very mobile and can produce his few share of goals. Similar or the same type as Coutinho & Lallana but doesn’t hurt to another 1 of these sort of players as both Coutinho & Lallana have either had quiet a few injuries or been out for lengthy periods of the season. Certainly Isco is good enough and would improve us and himself adding more competition.

These 3 would make us much stronger BUT we need to get Champions League Football 1st!!!!

We will also need other areas on top of those 3 players –

    Left Back – R.Rodriguez/ Bertrand
    2nd CB – J.Tah/ N.Sule/ Laporte (Youngish)
GK – Oblak (a dream) Hart/ Schmeichel good enough? Who else?
    Def Mid – W.Carvallho/ L.Paredes/ Fabinho/ Bakayoko
    Winger – L.Moura/ Q.Promes/ J.Brandt/ Douglas Costa

Klopp says we don’t need a new GK but we all know we do. Mignolet has done well lately, he a good shot stopper but he’s had plenty of time and he’s not commanding enough but the problem is are there any top Keepers available? Oblak would be excellent but can’t see Athletico selling but worth to see if we could tempt them maybe a £40m?
I suggest with Van Dijk a young center back. Matip is our best but he’s very similar to Agger. A very good center back who likes to get foward but like Agger seems to be a bit injury prone. A young center back would get games but at the same time get time to develop with Lovren as backup. Sakho bound to go and possible Klavan unless he can be 5th choice?
We have to sign at least 1 maybe 2 pacey wingers cause our season has flopped when Mane was at the African Cup and the goals gave dried up again since he got injured v Everton.
Milner is a warrior but at the end of the day he’s no natural left back. The full backs are our main source of width so at times we have lacked that width cause Milner is not left footed and not pacey, none his fault as midfield will suit him more but a left back needed.
Our defence has been very leaky and at times our defence has lacked some protection since Mascherano. Our only real DM has been Lucas who is no where near that level. You can just see what Kante has done with Leicester and Chelsea as he provides much energy, he quick, dynamic, strong, anticipates the danger, good passer/distributor but can really play and get foward aswell.
