Why West Brom should put in a bid in for this 16-goal midfield ace who was League One’s player of the Season

After getting relegated to the Championship, West Bromwich Albion will be looking to rebuild their squad and one player they should purchase is Blackburn Rovers midfielder, Bradley Dack.

Although there has been no speculation about such a move, in this article, we will take a look as to why the player could be a great purchase for the struggling Baggies.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a sensational season as he fired 16 goals in 36 matches. The fact that he won the League One Player of the Season for the 17/18 campaign, goes to show his influence and potential.

He helped Blackburn secure a promotion into the Championship and hence, the Baggies must definitely consider a move for him.

West Brom are in dire need of fresh faces this summer and Dack could go on to become the ideal signing for the club. Also, he would have the opportunity to play in a side competing at a high level.

Dack is an attacking midfielder who is capable of moving into advanced roles to create chances. He might not be too tall but the player is extremely nimble on the ball, which often helps him beat the opponents in one-on-one situations.

However, Blackburn might not be willing to let him leave. At just 24 years of age, Dack still has a few years to reach his peak potential. He is expected to do well once the new season kicks off but will he be able to repeat his heroics from the previous term?

Well, he outshone his contemporaries in the League One, so why not in the league above?

Hence, West Brom must eye him as a potential target this summer. Going forward, it will be interesting to see if the Baggies attempt to sign Dack as it would be the perfect move for the rising Englishman as well as the club.

  1. What nonsense. Bradley Dack is not going to leave Championship club on the up, Blackburn Rovers for Championship club on the slide, West Brom, is he? One’s a big club with a proud history and the potential to get back up there…the other is West Brom.
