Rangers Player Ratings vs Hearts: Here’s how the Gers fared
Rangers will be buoyed after picking up a 3-1 win against the league leaders at home. Steven Gerrard’s men romped to a victory as they made a statement. Ryan Kent opened the scoring before Alfredo Morelos doubled the lead.
Scott Arfield then handed the Gers a cushion with a third goal before half-time. Hearts pulled one back through Jimmy Dunne but were unable to force a comeback.

Made a couple of fine saves to ensure Rangers saw off the victory. He was unfortunate to concede a goal.
Connor Goldson (6/10)
Was defensively good on the night but he was unable to provide much going forward.
Jon Flanagan (6/10)
Had a couple of nervy moments but he came to their rescue when it mattered the most. Flanagan is proving to be a versatile defender in this squad.

He made a few vital headed clearances to ensure Hearts didn’t pull off a comeback.
James Tavernier (8/10)
Was defensively superb on the night and picked up an assist.
Ryan Kent (8/10)
After a couple of nervy games, Kent was superb in this one. He opened the scoring for Gerrard’s side.
Ovie Ejaria (6/10)
Gave away the ball cheaply on one or two occasions and was unable to threaten much.
Lassana Coulibaly (7/10)
A dominant performance from Coulibaly, who picked up an assist too. His passing was spot on.
Daniel Candeias (7/10)
Candeias posed all sorts of problems down the flank. He picked up an assist too on the night.
Scott Arfield (7/10)
Arfield scored a superb goal and did most of the dirty work in the middle of the park. His work rate was excellent as well.

Morelos has proven to be the focal point of this team and once again proved his value in front of the goal.
Ryan Jack (5/10)
Took his time to settle into the game and had a few shaky moments on the ball. However, his quick passing was fruitful.

Halliday was sent on to help Rangers see out the game and that’s exactly what he did.
