Rangers Player Ratings vs St. Mirren – Here’s how the Gers fared
Rangers were not at their best against St. Mirren but managed to come away with a 2-0 victory. Daniel Candeias opened the scoring for Gerrard’s men though it didn’t look as though the 30-year-old meant it.
Alfredo Morelos then scored the second and sealed the win for the Gers. Daniel Candeias then picked up a needless red card late into the stoppage time.
Rangers Player Ratings
Allan McGregor (8/10)
Made a couple of fantastic saves to save the day for Rangers.
James Tavernier (5/10)
Tavernier was poor at both ends of the pith and had a bad game. He really needs to show more consistency.
Joe Worrall (4/10)
Easily the worst performer for Rangers on the night. He literally did nothing right on the night.
Connor Goldson (6.5/10)
He was good in the defence but missed two simple sitters at the other end.
Andy Halliday (6.5/10)
A solid display from Halliday who continues to prove his worth as a utility man.
Ryan Jack (6/10)
Ryan Jack looked shaky and uncomfortable for most of the game and gave away possession cheaply.
Ovie Ejaria (6.5/10)
Much improved display from Ovie Ejaria. He was always positive and looked creative in the final third.
Scott Arfield (5/10)
Another poor display from Arfield who barely had an impact going forward.
Ryan Kent (6/10)
It hasn’t been working for the youngster lately. He takes one too many touches on the ball.
Eros Grezda (6/10)
Didn’t show anything spectacular but he wasn’t poor either. A mediocre game from Grezda.
Alfredo Morelos (8/10)
He bullied and harried the defenders as he got another goal. A rare occurrence that he isn’t the man of the match.
Daniel Candeias (6/10)
Got a lucky goal before which he missed a glorious chance. He got sent off as well.
Jordan Rossiter (5/10)
A tidy display from the midfielder who didn’t have much to do.
