Predicted Tottenham Hotspur line-up to face Arsenal in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur pulled off a resounding 3-1 victory against Chelsea in the league last weekend and have further cemented their place in the top-four. Spurs ran riot at Wembley as they handed Maurizio Sarri’s side their first defeat of the season.

Pochettino now turns his attention to another big clash against Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend. The Gunners are unbeaten since the opening two weeks and will pose a tough test for the Lilywhites.

Team News

Mousa Dembele, Davinson Sanchez and Kieran Trippier are all still out injured and will be unavailable for this game. Victor Wanyama is also out for the clash but Spurs can still punish the Gunners as they have a plethora of options up front.

Probable Tottenham Hotspur XI

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Formation: 4-1-2-1-2

Hugo Lloris (GK)

Didn’t have much to do against Chelsea and kept a clean sheet against Inter in the Champions League. He will continue between the sticks.

Serge Aurier (RB)

Aurier has done well in the absence of Kieran Trippier but his deliveries haven’t been as fruitful as the English full-back’s.

Jan Vertonghen (CB)

Returned from injury and played a huge role in ensuring the clean sheet against Inter. He will continue at the back.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Alderweireld looks like the perfect partner for Vertonghen and the two Belgians should start at the back against the Gunners.

Ben Davies (LB)

Hasn’t been the best of starts for Davies but he hasn’t done much wrong either. He should start at left-back.

Ben Davies

Eric Dier (CDM)

Did a good job against Chelsea last time out and should keep his place in defensive midfield.

Christian Eriksen (LCM)

Scored the winning goal against Inter after coming off the bench. He will start this one for sure.

Moussa Sissoko (RCM)

Has proven to be a machine in the middle of the park this season. He should continue in central midfield.

Dele Alli (CAM)

Caused all sorts of problems in the final third against Chelsea and Inter. He should sit behind the strikers in this game as well.

Heung-Min Son (ST)

Son now looks like the player who scored goals on a consistent basis last season. He will surely start up front after making a mockery of the Chelsea defence.

Harry Kane (ST)

Kane will continue to lead the line against the Gunners, a team he loves scoring goals against.
