Go for it Sarri – Chelsea signing this South American PL star would ease the burden on the phenomenal Eden Hazard

Why Roberto Pereyra would be a perfect fit for Chelsea under Sarri

Chelsea started the season in extremely good form and showed a certain degree of finesse in the way they were able to put smaller teams away with relative ease. While they were unbeaten until the end of November, a lot of things have changed since then at Stamford Bridge and the Blues, who were vying with Liverpool and Manchester City for the top spot, are now placed 4th, 10 points off the pace.

Chelsea’s star man Eden Hazard also began the season in scintillating form but has slowly dropped off. He was on top of the scoring charts until November but finds himself at 5th place now behind the Premier League’s usual suspects.

Although he is still on top of the assists chart, it just seems like the season has begun to catch up with Chelsea and their new manager. While it is obvious there’s something missing in this side, the solution to that problem is proving to be a difficult one for Maurizio Sarri.

While his strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud, have been their undependable selves, Willian on the flank has looked lethargic and slow at times. Marcos Alonso has also let the team down on occasions, displaying a bad mentality.

What this means is that Chelsea have to be active in the current transfer window as Sarri tries to find the missing piece of the puzzle. Eden Hazard can’t do everything for the side in every game and it is essential for them to find a fresh pair of legs to take a little bit of pressure off the little Belgian.

According to a report from the Express, Chelsea have been considering a move for Watford’s Argentine maestro Roberto Pereyra. With Willian and Pedro both over the age of 30, it’s about time Chelsea begin to look for eventual replacements.

The winger who plies his trade at Vicarage Road will obviously be humbled by the interest. He has scored 6 goals so far this season and has undoubtedly been Watford’s deadliest threat going forward. He is capable of the odd bit of skill to beat a man while his long-range shooting is unmatched.

He shows the finesse, movement and attacking intensity to be a great hit at Stamford Bridge. With the recent acquisition of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund amidst interest from various other clubs, Chelsea are voicing their intent in the transfer market.
