3 More Additions That Could Complete A Highly Successful Window For Liverpool

Liverpool fans will be looking forward to Klopp’s first full season in charge.  Last year they struggled hugely during the initial phases of the season, which resulted in the sacking of Brendan Rodgers. However the Klopp’s arrival might have been the best signing Liverpool made whole of last year, the German came to Anfield surrounded by much fan fare and now he will have a chance to completely instill his ideologies into the minds of his players and get a proper pre-season in. Liverpool have already bought Joel Matip, Loris Karius and Southampton plaeyer Sadio Mane in a big money deal. However this will not be the end of transfer business, as Klopp looks to get his side fully strengthened before August 13th.

Since the departure of Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling, Liverpool have been looking for that one world class player who can drag the Reds higher up the table. Coutinho has been brilliant since the departure of the duo but he still requires able partners, who can compliment him in the attacking department. The German manager will definitely have eyes on more additions in the coming weeks.

Jonas Hector

Over the past few weeks, Liverpool have been heavily linked with left-backs. Last season Alberto Moreno was the team’s first choice left back. Though the Spaniard was excellent going forward with pace and joining the attack, he was always susceptible to leaving gaps at the back, which could prove to be very costly next season. Jonas Hector will definitely be more reliable than Moreno, even though he lacks the pace. The German has beene excellent for FC Koln over the past year, following which he has become an integral part of the German national team now.

Loic Remy

Remy joined Chelsea last season, however even in Chelsea’s disastrous 2015/16 campaign, the Frenchman was handed just three Premier League starts. Liverpool have struggled badly upfront mainly due to the horrendous injury record of Daniel Sturridge. Therefore there is a desperate need to get in a quality striker, who can cover for Sturridge, especially with Benteke edging closer to an exit at Anfield.

Neven Subotic

Another position that is in need of reinforcement. Even with the signing of Joel Matip, Liverpool have only 3 proper centre-backs and with Mammadou Sakho’s doping ban is still unclear and that makes Lovren and Matip as the only centre backs that Klopp has. Subotic has already worked under Klopp during Dortmund’s most successful period. There are doubts of over the future of Subotic, after he only made 6 appearances last season. His aerial ability and excellent tackling skills make him a perfect signing for Klopp.
