3 Players Likely To Quit Arsenal This Summer Featuring English Trio And Fan Favourite

Three Players Who Are Sure To Quit Arsenal This Summer

Arsenal had a season to forget last term as they failed to qualify for the Champions League, for the first time since Arsene Wenger took charge of the club around 20 years ago. The manager is adamant to make sure that this does not repeat and is looking to add some of the finest stars in world football to his squad before the start of the next season.

The Gunners have already added Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac to their lineup and Wenger is also looking to off load a few non-performers from the first team before the start of the next season. There are a number of players who could be on their way out of the club this summer and here are three players who are definitely going to make a switch before the deadline day:

Calum Chambers

The versatile English defender has been at the club since 2014 but he has failed to establish himself in the first team under Arsene Wenger, who does not see him in his plans for the next season. The Gunners rejected a £16m bid from Crystal Palace for his services recently but are ready to off load him at the right price this summer. With loads of options already at the back for Arsenal, they are ready to let him leave for £20m and Palace are ready to make a bid of that value, which should seal the deal.

Jack Wilshere

Having spent the previous season on loan at Bournemouth, a product of the Arsenal youth academy, Wilshere has failed to impress Arsene Wenger enough for the manager to give him another chance at the club next season. Arsenal are ready to sell him to any team ready to meet his valuation of £20m but at the moment, only West Ham United and Inter Milan have made enquiries. Wenger might find it hard to off load him but it is hard to see him play for Arsenal, come the start of the new season.

Kieran Gibbs

The addition of Sead Kolasinac will make most Arsenal fans and players happy but one player who will be gutted is English international Kieran Gibbs. Having played second fiddle to Nacho Monreal for some time now, Gibbs has been an Arsenal player for 10 years now, making 137 appearances in the league for the London outfit. However, with Kolasinac now in the dressing room, Gibbs falls further down the pecking order and with less than a year left on his contract, is valued at just £10m. West Brom are reportedly interested in his services and Arsenal are sure to offload him before the start of the next season.
