3 Players From The Promoted Sides To Watch Out For This Season Including Burnley And Middlesbrough Stars

What would a new Premier League season be without talk about the newly promoted sides? Middlesbrough, Burnley, and Hull City returned to the Premier League and although all these sides have played in the top level sometime or the other, there still are doubts as to whether they can remain in the Premier League and avoid relegation.

Some of these teams have strengthened their squads by making some astute signings, while some will try to work magic with the same squad that did so well in the Championship and hopefully can keep the side safe this season as well.

With many eyes on the trio of clubs, we look at three players who should be kept a tab on this season from these sides.

Viktor Fischer

In what has to be one of the weirdest signings that could work out, after all, the Ajax star signed for Middlesbrough this season. Boro were just promoted and somehow Aitor Karanka worked his magic and brought the 22-year-old to the Riverside.

The Ajax midfielder could be one of the players that turns out to be an X-factor in the league and with Boro only paying €5 million for his services, this could also turn out to be the deal of the Premier League season.

Fischer could be the spark that any team would love to have and with Boro doing some great business this season, the Dane could turn out to be another Christian Eriksen.

Andre Gray

Burnley are back in the Premier League and one player that is sure to catch the eye of many is 25-year-old Andre Gray. The striker might not have played in the Premier League ever but this is his time to shine and Burnley would need him to fire on all cylinders if they are to survive the drop.

The English striker did score 23 goals last season for the team and if he can come up with a similar return it would be great for the club. Burnley need all the help they need to survive this season and if Gray can turn up just like he did last season, the side could end up finishing in the top half.

Jordan Rhodes

It was a surprise that no Premier League club moved for Jordan Rhodes, especially due to his scoring record in the Championship. The 26-year-old Scot has scored 85 goals in 169 games for Blackburn before making the move to the Riverside Stadium.

He might not have played a lot of games for the club last season but if he does get a chance to play in the Premier League, he could start scoring goals for fun. Rhodes is one of the best strikers from the Championship and the move up to this league might be tough for him but this is the time to prove his ability.

Rhodes is another Boro player that could shine under Karanka but only if he is given a shot. Boro have already got Alvaro Negredo and with Fischer in the side, this attack could take the Premier League by storm this season.
