Three Players Who Could Have A Stellar Season For Manchester United This Season

Manchester United are making some decent progress in the summer transfer window as Jose Mourinho looks to avoid another season in the Premier League where his side does not finish in the top-4. They have added the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof to their side for the season ahead and Mourinho is looking for more and more quality to add to his first team for the upcoming campaign.

They have been linked with some of the finest players in world football but they also have a few genuine match winners in their squad who could step up to the challenges next season. Here are three such Manchester United players who are expected to have stellar seasons at the Old Trafford in the upcoming campaign:

Paul Pogba

The French international is still the most expensive transfer in world football and it is time that he repays the faith the club set on him last summer. He was the player with the most number of passes in the Premier League last season and playing in what will be his fourth season in England, he is expected to be at his best, helping United back to their glory days. He is one of the best midfielders in the game at the moment and the fans might witness some of it in the 2017/18 season at Old Trafford.

Eric Bailly

Another player who joined the club last summer – the first under signing Jose Mourinho, Bailly was superb at times last season but he failed to keep himself fit, which made United a bit weak at the back. However, he is not usually injury prone and if he can start regularly alongside Victor Lindelof next season, he can turn into a beast of a defender; probably the best in the league, under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.

Anthony Martial

The French international has failed to impress in his two full seasons at Old Trafford but at just 21, he has a huge future ahead of him and this season could be the start of what could be a record breaking career in England for the attacker. Though he is not being used in his regular position, Martial has adjusted well to the needs of the Premier League and will surely be well equipped to face the challenges better, next season. Mourinho has no option but to trust him, and this might get him to play at his best and help Manchester United sparkle at the highest level in the upcoming campaign.
