3 Players who Rangers must sell this summer including 26-year-old forward

Three Players Who Rangers Must Sell In The Summer

Rangers have done well in the Scottish Premier League this year but have still fallen short of the title challenge and will be loathed to see it go to Celtic once more.

They will want to really mount a challenge for the title next year but to do that, they will need to bring some quality players and to bring players in, they must also move some on. These are three players who must be sold by the club.

Michael O’Halloran

The 26-year-old forward was signed by Rangers after a great few seasons at St. Johnstone but he has found it very difficult to recreate that form in the dark blue shirt.

He’s now on loan at St. Johnstone and has looked a completely different player, re-capturing his form. However, it looks like there is no future for him at Rangers anymore. He should command a decent fee.

Jordan Rossiter

The former Liverpool youngster looked set to leave Rangers in January but nothing came of the rumours in the end. Once a very promising signing, injuries have really put a hold on him forcing his way into the Rangers squad.

He does have the undoubted ability and it looks like some big League One clubs were keeping an eye on him earlier this year. He could command a decent fee and even though Rangers won’t really want to lose a promising youngster, if he isn’t getting game time then moving on could work out well for both parties.

Bruno Alves

Brought in to be the experienced head of the back-four, Alves hasn’t had the most comfortable of times in Scotland.

He has made 17 appearances for Rangers but even when he isn’t injured, he doesn’t look like the player he once was and there are better options at the back who look younger and fresher.

There were rumours of Italian club Benevento being interested and it seems like the best thing to do is to move him on at the end of the season.
