3 Possible Destinations For This Versatile Manchester United Speedster – A Reunion With David Moyes Maybe?

Ashley Young has 18 months left on his current deal

It is always a shame when some players ages and gets demoted to the bottom of the bench to spend the last years of their careers, as some new faces arrive in the team and take away their playing time and opportunities to prove their value.

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are arguably one of the most loaded teams in the world, owning world class talented players such as Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba and considering that the Red Devils are intending to bring even more stars to Old Trafford, being a substitute here can be extremely frustrating.

That situation could only get worse if you’re in the last years of your professional career and just can’t make the impact you used to make when you were younger, and that is exactly what’s happening to the Red Devils’ veteran winger Ashley Young over the course of the season.

Young isn’t in Mourinho’s plans and hasn’t been able to perform for his team, so he has allegedly asked the Portuguese boss to let him go on a loan until the end of the season, so let’s take a look at three possible destinations that could actually be very nice fits for the Veteran:

Watford

Ashley made his professional debut for the Hornets on 2002, spending the first 5 years of his career there before being sold to Aston Villa (prior to his Manchester United years), so it would make a lot of sense for him to want to go back to where he took his first steps as a professional football player.

Besides, Mazzarri’s team has shown a pretty decent form over the past few years and the addition of yet another proven veteran could significantly boost their roster, and Young could offer his experience to mentor some of the youngsters of the club.
