It now seems set that Paul Pogba would be leaving Juventus after the end of Euro 2016. The French star has been linked with a number of clubs since last season and it is clear that if the Serie A club receive a large sum for the 23-year-old dynamo, they will cash in on him.
Pogba is a gem and he can only get better, even though Euro 2016 has not been a great tournament for him, every club that has a huge wallet will be fighting it out for his signature this season and one team in particular who has been linked with the star player is Manchester United.
The club did lose out the youngster on a free in 2012 to Juventus but Pogba has often stated that he has no problems with the club but had problems with the way he wasn’t given game time, something that Juventus did.
Jose Mourinho has already made a big money move to bring in Eric Bailly and Pogba could just be the other big signing that Manchester United need to get back to the top of the Premier League. The 23-year-old is probably one of the best in the world at the moment and here are three reasons why signing Pogba would mean that United are unstoppable next season.
A world class midfielder for United
Manchester United might have a lot of midfielders in the team but you would be hard-pressed to name anyone who is at the top of their game at the moment. Bastian Schweinsteiger might be the biggest name in the midfield but he is well past his best.
Marouane Fellaini, well, no one knows what he does bring to the club and then we have the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Ander Herrera, who are getting better with each game but they aren’t top quality at the moment.
Pogba would change all that and his quality would shine through in more games than not. The 23-year-old will only get better and he already is a world class player that can only be good news for Manchester United.
He will bring a ton of energy to the team
One thing that Paul Pogba is known for is his running in the team and the energy he brings to the side. The French midfielder is a proper box-to-box midfielder who puts in a massive amount of effort as he looks to pull his team from tough situations.
The midfielder would also change the dynamics of the Manchester United midfield and make them more fluid. He would also provide a lot of cover to the defence and that is something they need. A dynamo that keeps on running but also having the game intelligence to know when to run forward and when to stay back and defend, Pogba is all that and much more.
Link up play with the forwards will be incredible
There was one major problem with the Manchester United midfield last time around and that was their link up play with the attack. Not one midfielder was about to do that and it was Wayne Rooney who was shifted to the middle of the park to give them more creativity and link up with the forward line.
With Pogba coming into the side, that would not be an issue as he is one of the most creative players around and his running at the opposition will certainly give the defences a lot to think about.
It would also take the pressure off the forward line to constantly score goals and with the passing and vision that Pogba has; they would be provided a lot of chances to score.
Pogba is ready to take over the world and if he does move to Manchester United, he would be the key to take them to the next level and even to the Premier League title.
