Arsenal Academy Coach In Trouble As He Tweeted Ozil’s Arrival Prior To The Deadline Day

Arsenal academy coach Mark Arber has got himself in trouble after he tweeted about Mesut Ozil’s arrival on thetransfer deadline day

It is alleged that he Tweeted this:  ‘Lovely bit of 14-1 Mesut.’  However the former professional footballer’s Twitter account has is locked. The Dailymail reports that, Arsenal are investigating tweets and an Arsenal’s spokesman said: ‘We take this very seriously and we are looking into it as a matter of urgency.’

Arber, 35, is a former player for Conference Premier side Dartford where he played until last season, and has spent his previous years at Dagenham & Redbridge, where he used to captain the side. He also had two spells at Peterborough United, and periods at Barnet, Oldham and Stevenage.

In other news, latest Arsenal sensation Mesut Ozil has stated that he is looking forward to playing for the London side and is comfortable to play in their style.

“I want to improve myself further and I am looking forward to the style of play. Arsenal are well known for the strength of their technical game and their desire to play attacking football. I think I will fit perfectly into that. That is why I chose to sign for the club,” he mentioned.

Ozil has also admitted that Arsenal had been rather poor to their standards and that he would look forward to changing the scenario.

“In the last few years, Arsenal haven’t been so successful, but we want to become more successful. We want to win trophies. I think the fans are looking forward to that too. We have a very strong and a very young team that can improve a lot under the manager. I think we will win trophies because we have the potential [to do so],” he added.

The German international was signed from Real Madrid on the final day of the transfer window and the supporters of the club have been elated with the signing. Throughout the summer Wenger had been chasing a marquee signing first chasing Higuain and then Suarez. But he failed with both to the despair of the supporters only to sign Ozil on the final day. Much is expected from the player, not only the Arsenal fans but almost all the Premier League fans as well. Ozil has added a star value to the league after the likes of Cavani, Alcantara and Falcao snubbed EPL in favour of other leagues and the whole world is now looking forward as to how he performs with his new club.

Not only the fans, Ozil’s joining the club has also lifted the hopes of the current players of the club. Defender Per Martesacker has stated that Ozil would be a boon for the club and he would have a huge influence on the fortunes of the team.

“I think Arsenal can be proud that a player like Mesut has chosen the club. Arsene Wenger spoke briefly to me about Mesut but he did not really need my opinion. He has followed Mesut’s career for a long time and always been an admirer of his. For us, the transfer is a gift,” is what the German teammate of Ozil had to say.
