Arsenal Ranks Three Possible Signings After Vardy Snub Including This Former Real Madrid Striker

Arsenal’s attempt to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester City has ended in a drab with the striker rejecting the offer and signing a new contract at Leicester. Now with the Gunners hell bent on improving their team, Sky Sports has reported the three likely signing that Arsenal are chasing.

  1. Sam Byram – The player is not a direct replacement for Vardy but will add steele to the team nonetheless. He just moved from Leeds to West Ham United but the player may be a suitable replacement for Hector Bellerin. Barcelona are interested in signing Bellerin and going by our previous experience, Arsenal players do not snub a Barcelona move.
  2. Alexandre Lacazette – This striker has scored 21 goals last season for Lyon. Several clubs are after him but if Arsenal were to make a move for this player they would probably land him as the most notable name that is chasing him currently is West Ham United. He could be an appropriate alternative to signing Jamie Vardy.
  3. Gonzalo Higuain – Will be very expensive but then that is expected when you break the goal record in a particular league. After breaking the Serie A record of highest goals scored in a single season, Higuain has expressed his desire to leave Napoli. Arsenal are looking for a striker. Match made in heaven?
