Arsenal ended last season in a comparatively decent position compared to their regular rivals like United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City. However Arsene Wenger is not too pleased and wants to push for the title next season.
Hoje en Dia, a Brazilian news outlet has reported that Arsenal are chasing 22 year old Atletico Mineiro player Douglas Santos. Arsenal has history with another Santos, Andre who left the Gunners in 2011. The report claims that Arsenal are not alone in the chase as Barcelona and Valencia are also interested in the player.
Current left-back Kieran Gibbs has lost his touch and his days are nearing its end at Emirates and Arsene Wenger is looking find a replacement if not improvement over Gibbs. Gunners have already signed Xhaka and is in the process of chasing Jamie Vardy. Overall if Wenger is successful at bringing these players to Emirates the next season looks to be interesting for the Arsenal fans.
