Arsenal’s Alex Ox Is A Must Have, Hazard For Captaincy And Coy On Liverpool’s Attackers – Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 29 Preview

After all the distractions of the F.A. Cup last weekend which severely diluted Gameweek 28 of the Fantasy Premier League with only half the Premier League teams playing, we finally have a full gameweek. With double gameweeks coming soon where some teams will play more than one match in a particular gameweek it’s imperative that the Fantasy Premier League managers start planning for that and bring in players from those teams to maximize the gains without having to take a points hit.

Important to avoid the long injury list at the moment

If we are to compare the Premier League teams to cars, then at the moment it’s looking as if most of the teams are running on reserve. To gain the advantage over other Fantasy Premier League managers it is important to know which players are playing and which players are still out injured. Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy are injured and will not play Newcastle United’s next match while Aaron Ramsey is still not fit to take any part in Arsenal’s next match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Mesut Ozil has also joined the injured list at the Emirates while West Brom too has a plethora of injuries at the moment with Steven Reid, Claudio Yacob and Billy Jones all ruled out for the trip to Swansea City. Sergio Aguero of Manchester City is also a doubt after limping out of the Champions League match against Barcelona.

Romelu Lukaku/Eden Hazard is the best captain choice for this gameweek

With heavy hitters like Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Robin Van Persie all facing formidable opponents this is one week where the choice on who to make the captain of your team will probably decide how the gameweek goes. Romelu Lukaku is one very good option as Everton face relegation strugglers Cardiff City who have been woeful away from the Millennium Stadium this season. Also Eden Hazard who has been in fantastic form for Chelsea all season can be backed for the captain’s armband for a trip away to Aston Villa. Aston Villa has hardly been on form at home and if Chelsea wins, which they should, it’s highly likely that all good things will go through the Belgium only.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is slowly becoming a must have

With all the whole host of injuries to Arsenal midfielders, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is an assured starter for Arsenal for the next few weeks. Coming at a relatively modest price of 6.6 million he is a very good player to have as he is looking on fire at the moment. While it’s still a gamble on whether Arsene Wenger will play him down the centre or the right he has the potentiality to fetch points either way. While some may point that Arsene Wenger have not really played him much in the last three Premier League matches, it is highly unlikely that Alex Oxlade will not get the nod for the next few matches given the precarious medical situation at Arsenal.
