Arsene Wenger so far only signed Granit Xhaka as an established player this season. After bidding for Jamie Vardy and failing the Gunners have again been linked with another Leicester City player.
Riyad Mahrez has been linked with the Gunners recently and Arsene Wenger has just fueled the transfer news more as he was seen at the match against PSG. The 25 year old Algerian International was crowned the PFA player of the year. He scored 17 goals last season and was a key component in the Leicester’s title win.
Arsenal fans are desperate for Wenger to sign a big name player and while several players are being linked with the Gunners, there is no sign of a prominent signing yet. Riyad Mahrez could be start to something nice for the fans.
One crazy fan even chased down the French manager when he went cycling during Arsenal’s US tour and shouted “Only Mahrez, only Mahrez. Please!”
