After giving away an early lead, McGinn scored a stunning goal to put Villa back on the level terms.
The midfielder was kept running on the right flank tussling with the defender and he shot the ball from his left foot leaving the goalkeeper hopeless.
The 24-year-old was highly received by the fans for his stellar display. He has scored four goals and provided seven assists in the Championship this season.
And in fact, it is the third big win for the Dean Smith’s side after going through a slight dip in form.
The win allowed the Villa to climb a position up in the championship table.
