Jack Grealish

Grealish is having a great time with Villa, since his return from injury last month.

In fact, the English midfielder was the most influential player in Dean Smith’s string of victories, over the course of a month.

Grealish scored some magnificent goals, some of which have decided games. He has now scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists this season.

Now, his fellow team-mate, McGinn reckons Grealish to be the best player in the Championship this season.

Jack is the best player in the league and there is no doubt he has inspired the run we are on. In his absence, the confidence he has given the rest of the lads has carried on.

McGinn has also been pivotal for the Lions this season, bagging an impressive 6 goals and 9 assists in over 30 appearances.

The Scots winger has also earned 14 caps for his country so far and played in the Euro-Qualifiers last month. However, his lacklustre display in the international break wasn’t well received by the fans.

Grealish, 23, was tipped off as an international call-up, following England manager Gareth Southgate’s visit to Villa Park weeks before.

The English midfielder scored a stunning goal in their recent game against Rotherham United.

And the victory against Bristol City marked the Lions’ seventh in a row and they have now moved up to 5th in the table.

They will be facing Bolton in their next Championship fixture and should try to maximize their chances of Premier League promotion.
