Bayern Munich showed a strong intend of claiming back the Bundesliga title with a 6-1 victory over Stuttgart.
Martin Harnik opened the scoring for Stuttgart in the 24th minute to take the lead against run of the play. But Bayern hit back quickly with two goals from Thomas Müller and a goal each from Toni Kroos, Luis Gustavo, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Mandzukic to complete a seven goal bonanza at the Allianz arena.
Bavarian giants moved to the top position in the Bundesliga table with this emphatic win.
Meanwhile the defending champions Borussia dortmund were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw with 1. FC Nuremberg. They now currently lie in 6th position with two points behind Bayern Munich.
