Bogle And Hoilett To Start – Strongest 4-3-3 Cardiff City Line-up To Face Reading On Monday Night

Predicted Cardiff City Line-up To Face Reading In The Premier League

The Monday night game should be a hard-fought affair with Reading very much looking to come back to top form and somewhere near the strength they showed last season, while the team who have essentially replaced them in that role come to upset them.

Cardiff have struggled with injuries recently, yet, continue to churn out the results. They almost have a full complement but will still miss Kenneth Zohore.

Neil Warnock has switched to a 4-3-3 formation of late and it seems to be working for them. The same shape is expected here featuring the following personnel:

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Neil Warnock

GK – Neil Etheridge

The jury is out regarding just how good Etheridge is, but for now, he is fully trusted by Neil Warnock and that’s good enough for us.

RB – Bruno Ecuele Manga

Now at right-back and doing well. Paterson seems happy to play further forward so this works well for everyone.

CB – Sean Morrison

It feels like he’s been around forever, but Morrison can still get much better from this point as he hones his game as a central defender.

CB – Sol Bamba

Another rock solid defender who has been made for a Neil Warnock team. He is performing appropriately well this season in more than one role.

Sol Bamba

LB – Joe Bennett

Looks good going forward from left-back and is very likely to start once more in the role.

RCM – Callum Paterson

Damour played last time but Paterson has shown some quality and may be given the nod in a midfield role.

CM – Craig Bryson

Made the right move when leaving Derby it seems and may yet get a crack at Premier League sides.

LCM – Joe Ralls

Shows plenty of quality and fully deserves his place in this side. Ralls is sure to play Premier League football one way or the other, the only question being, where do Cardiff finish the year and if Ralls does stay with them?

Junior Hoilett

RW – Nathaniel Mendez Laing

The big man is back and he can cause a ton of problems at the Madejski. It’ll be a hard-fought game but that is right up the winger’s street and he’ll be up for it.

LW – Junior Hoilett

This side of the field is strong for Cardiff and Hoilett is once again showing why he was once considered a very hot property in the Premier League.

ST – Omar Bogle

Zohore is not yet back but Bogle may come back in to replace Ward up front.
