The 21 year old youngster is a versatile defender who can play in any of the four defensive positions. However the lack of opportunity has ensured that the player is set to move to Newcastle United. Mirror reports suggest that the player is set to undergo a medical at Newcastle and will complete a switch in the coming days. He spent last season on loan at Hull City and the tigers have won promotion back to Premier League.
This is a sad event as even for a club like Arsenal maintaining a balance between youth and success becomes increasingly difficult at Premier League.
