Dailymail has reported that Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea will continue to push a deal for French international Paul Pogba through though their £54m bid for the Juventus midfielder was already rejected by the club last week. Though the Serie A champions have insisted that Pogba is not for sale, the Premier League giants are keen on bringing him to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes, as manager Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his squad.

Champions of Europe Barcelona too had held formal talks with Juve in June over a move for the Frenchman and might look to sign the 22-year-old superstar next summer for about £73m. Mourinho is keen on adding reinforcements to his midfield instead and is keen on playing Pogba alongside Nemanja Matic with Cesc Fabregas in front.

Also, Juan Cuadrado has moved to Juventus and there is interest from Turin in the services of Oscar, Ramires and Willian. When asked about a move for Pogba last week, Mourinho stated, “I know [Massimiliano] Allegri was all summer speaking about Oscar and Ramires, but I won’t do that.”
