Chelsea are looking to sign Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner, according to reports in Italy.
Chelsea’s incoming manager Antonio Conte has a lot to do at the Stamford Bridge after the Blues’ dismal season. The Italian manager is set for a massive overhaul at the Stamford Bridge this summer and according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, Lichtsteiner may be heading to Chelsea this summer in a three year deal.
According to Giulianelli, Lichtsteiner may head to Chelsea at € 11million for three years if Dani Alves becomes official to Juventus. However, Giulianelli’s twitter comment stated that the player has already agreed to a deal.
The player has attracted interest from many of the premier league clubs in the past, Arsenal being the most heavily linked club. With a massive overhaul in mind and having already failed in signing Antonio Rudiger who moved to Roma, Lichtsteiner will be an important signing for Conte.
