Manchester United spent nearly £150m this summer in signing Eric Bailly-£30m, Henrikh Mkhitaryan- £26m and Paul Pogba-£89m, while they signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer from Paris saint-Germain. Having spent close to £150m one would expect the Red Devils manager to be happy with his summer signings, however, that is not the case. The United boss is already planning for the winter transfer window.
United have been linked with Atletico Madrid player Antoine Griezmann before the closure of the summer transfer window. The Red Devils were reportedly saving up funds so as to prepare a huge bid to offer to Atletico for the player, however, United may end up saving a lot of money as things changed with the player.
According to reports Griezmann has ditched his agent and will be operating independently from now on.
Greizmann is one of the top transfer targets for United before the summer of 2017 and if the player operates on his own, the Red Devils may end up saving the amount that they would have paid as the player’s agent charges.
