Final Score: West Ham United 2-1 West Bromwich Albion
West Ham United managed to seal all 3 points in a dramatic clash against West Bromwich Albion as they beat the Baggies 2-1 in the Premier League last night. West Brom are now yet to register a win under new manager Alan Pardew and their chances of survival look increasingly threatened at this point. For the Hammers, however, the win took them to 16th spot and they are temporarily safe but they need to continue this momentum.
James McClean scored the first goal of the match but Andy Carroll ended his goal drought to score right after half-time. Both clubs were tied for the longest time after but then Carroll scored once more in injury time to secure a win for his side.

Adrian – 6/10
It was a quiet day in goal for Adrian as he did not have many saves to make. and also could not stop McClean’s shot.
Pablo Zabaleta – 7/10
Zabaleta showed signs of improvement. He struggled in the first-half against McClean’s pace but looked a lot more solid after the break.
Winston Reid – 5/10
Reid looked shaky and his passes were sloppy as well. He could not do much as McClean scored the opening goal. He did seem more composed in the second half but that was not enough.
Angelo Ogbonna – 7.5/10
Ogbonna looked a lot stronger on the ball and his efficiency shone through. A few of his decisions may have been questionable but his blocks were quite fruitful, especially the one to deny Oliver Burke’s effort in the second half.
Aaron Cresswell – 5/10
Cresswell tried to do a lot of things but he only seemed frustrated by most of it. He had to be subbed after the break as he seemingly picking up a knock.
Arthur Masuaku – 7/10
Masuaku displayed brilliant pace whenever he had possession but he often lost control of the ball. However, he did trouble the Baggies now and then.
Pedro Obiang – 4/10
It was a rather forgettable day at work for Obiang. He looked lost and struggled majorly to control the midfield area. In fact, he was particularly troubled by West Brom’s attackers.
Cheikhou Kouyate – 4/10
Much like Obiang, Kouyate was a let-down. McClean dominated him through and through and he was even out of position on certain occasions. He was quite weak in the second half as well.
Manuel Lanzini – 7/10
Lanzini put in a decent display and kept himself involved at all times. He even created some chances in the first half and looked sturdy enough.
Marko Arnautovic – 8/10
Arnautovic made some brilliant crosses and looked full of energy. His pace and well-timed runs proved to be a constant threat for the Baggies.
Andy Carroll – 8.5/10
Carroll did not do anything extraordinary in the first-half but he looked so much more lethal after the break. He scored his first goal since April and then scored another one to seal a much-needed win for his team.

Mark Noble – 7/10
Definitely looked better than Obiang and made an impact in the middle as soon as he was brought in.
Javier Hernandez – 6/10
Could not have much of an impact going forward.
Declan Rice – 6/10
Rice displayed good pace while running but it did not yield any results.
