Manchester United are looking to add some more quality stars to their squad in the current transfer window, as Jose Mourinho looks to replace the old stars and “his type of players” now. The Portuguese manager just took over at Old Trafford recently and is looking to bring about a change at the club, in the upcoming days. Louis van Gaal failed to deliver on most of the promises that he had made, when he came to the club a couple of years ago, though the Dutchman did end up winning the FA Cup in his last game in charge of the club.

With that said and done, a lot of good players are wanted with the Red Devils, with speculations going around of various potential deals on the verge of happening in the upcoming days. The former Chelsea man will want to get the Manchester based side back to the top now and will look to challenge for the Premier League title this season and more.

Now, one player who has been linked with a move to United Julian Draxler, who has been performing really well in recent times for Bundesliga outfit VfL Wolfsburg. The 22 year old winger, who joined the club in 2015 has made a total of 23 league appearances so far, scoring six times and is wanted by man top teams including United.

The player is mainly an attacking midfielder, though last season he was made to play all over the pitch including in a defensive midfield role at times as well. His versatile nature of play would surely help him settle down quickly at The Theater of Dreams, though he looks much better at the center and pulling all the strings in the game.

Whether it is his passing or his shooting, the player is looks good doing both and is really smart with the ball at his feet, as he runs at his opponents. He is quite strong going into aerial duels as well and often comes out on top. He takes long shots as well, which makes him a threat to any opposition.

However, there are some weaknesses that he has that need to be rectified, as he still is not much of a contributer in defence and his tackling is also really poor at times, which might not really impress Mourinho, who likes his players to always contribute more to the side.

Draxler has more or less been a regular starter in the team, though he has just played the entire 90 minutes thrice since March. He has scored nine goals last season, with seven assists to his name in all competition, making a total of 35 appearances for the German outfit, who finished in 8th place with 45 points.
