Cardiff shouldn’t hesitate one little bit to make a permanent move for their 24-year-old loan star – agreed?

Cardiff City opinion: Should the Bluebirds sign Victor Camarasa permanently?

In an interview with English news outlet the Wales Online, on loan Real Betis star Victor Camarasa has revealed that he doesn’t know where his future lies. The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Cardiff City and has done relatively well with the Bluebirds.

He’s made 31 appearances for the club, with 30 of them coming in the Premier League. Furthermore, Camarasa has missed just four games so far this season, which shows his importance to the Bluebirds this season.

Easily among their best players, the Spaniard has contributed to 9 goals this season, which makes him Cardiff City’s top scorer in the Premier League. If that does not show why the Bluebirds should consider making the move permanent, nothing will.

Their position in the Premier League is far from safe but with Brighton’s sudden decline, the Bluebirds have an outside chance. However, their final three fixtures include games against Manchester United, Fulham and Crystal Palace.

It makes their job that much tougher and the onus will be on manager Neil Warnock to try and save his team. If they do make it out safely, they should consider making the move for Victor Camarasa permanent.

The 24-year-old is what Warnock needs in the middle of the park, and his consistent movement, both on and off the ball have made him a menace. That combined with a rather impressive 1.6 key passes a game, makes him among Cardiff’s most creative outfield players.

They’ve struggled to find the net this season but creating goals has never been much of an issue for the club. Cardiff City have managed 8 out of their nine wins this season, with Camarasa in the team, and similarly lost three out of the four games, when the Spaniard has been left out.

It shows just how important the 24-year-old has been. Victor Camarasa will only improve going forward and the experience he’s earned this season will prove to make a big impact.

Either way, a permanent move would do both sides a lot of good, with the Spaniard struggling at Real Betis last season. He made 26 appearances for the La Liga side but did not make a significant impact.

Conclusion

Cardiff City have a tough road ahead of them and if they do manage to survive their first season in the Premier League, the Bluebirds will need major reinforcements next summer.

Adding Victor Camarasa permanently will help them survive, especially with his ability from midfield. It could prove to become the difference between relegation and survival.
