I know what I owe the club, and yet at some point, it’s about my personal situation, about goals, about new challenges, and about making a decision,” said Rose.

The Austrian side defeated the Hoops in the Europa League group stage and following the win, Rose showed his gratitude to the Park Head fans wearing one of their hats.

After securing 100 % win record with the Austrian club’s youth team, the 42-year-old soon became the manager of the senior team in 2017.

In fact, Rose led his side to lift the Austrian Bundesliga title on his first season as the manager and ended as runners-up in the Austrian Cup.

Having managed more than 100 games, the former Mainz defender has secured only 9 losses with a win per cent of around 70.

Neil Lennon was appointed as the caretaker manager of the Hoops after Brendan Rodgers sought an exit to join Leicester City.

The management has been in search of the new full time manager despite Lennon’s decent run in the past few games.

The Hoops are leading the Premiership table ten points clear of their arch-rivals Rangers.
