Celtic FC News: Celtic interim manager Neil Lennon expects a tough game from Aberdeen.

The Dons earlier suffered a loss against Lennon’s men in the Scottish Cup finals a few weeks ago. Now they will square off in the weekend’s Premiership clash.

Speaking ahead of the match, Lennon said that the Derek McInnes’ men cause trouble whenever they meet.

The Dons are third in the Premiership table, three points ahead of Kilmarnock. Their notable wins include the Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Rangers.

The Hoops interim manager was also surprised that Kristoffer Ajer, the Norwegian defender hadn’t nominated for the best player award, despite an impressive season.

The 22-year-old has been at the heart of the defence for the Celts this season. Furthermore, his brilliant displays have led to a lot of praise from the fans.

He also provided a major update on Odsonne Edouard and that the French striker would be in action for the upcoming games.

Edouard, 27, has been in magnificent form this season, involving himself in over 20 goals for the Hoops.

The former Hibernian manager also said that Kieran Tierney has returned to training and added that the club will help him in every to recover.

The Scottish left-back suffered multiple facial fractures after the Cup semi-final last month and is expected to undergo a double hernia operation at the end of this season.
