Celtic FC News: Wonderkid Karamoko Dembele shines in reserves game

Dembele has once entered the spotlight once again with a heroic display against St Mirren.

The Hoops prospect assisted twice in the game allowing his side to pick up a 3-3 draw.

In the process, Dembele’s skills were on full display which caught the eyes of the audience.

Kerr McInroy, Barry Coffey and Jack Aitchison were the goal scorers against the Saints.

Dembele’s second assist included leaving two defenders trailing behind before chipping the ball with the outside of his foot.

The 16-year-old, who recently attained the rights to play for the main team, has been pivotal for the reserves this season.

And the Park Head fans are keenly awaiting on the Scottish teenager to enter into the main squad.

In December 2018, Dembele signed his first professional contract with the Hoops, which will keep him at the club until 2021.

The Scots U-17 star has had widespread attention among the fans since his debut for the Hoops’ U-20 squad, aged just 13.

The Hoops first-team also emerged victorious with the scoreline 2-0 against the Buddies.

Neil Lennon picked up his fifth win of the season since taking the managerial role on a makeshift basis.
