Champions League Pots And Groups: Find Out Who Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United And Manchester City Play Against This Season

The top 32 European teams were drawn into eight groups for the 2015-16 UEFA Champions League. Those 32 teams were put into 4 parts and one team from each pot constituted a group.

Pot 1 consists of the champions of the eight highest-ranked UEFA nations while Pot2,3 and 4 were divided according to the UEFA coefficients. No club can play a side from their association and no Russian team can play a club from Ukraine.

Here are the Pots:

Pot 1: Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern München, Juventus, Benfica, Paris, Zenit, PSV Eindhoven
Pot 2: Real Madrid, Atlético, Porto, Arsenal, Man. United, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Man. City
Pot 3: Shakhtar Donetsk, Sevilla, Lyon, Dynamo Kyiv, Olympiacos, CSKA Moskva, Galatasaray, Roma
Pot 4: BATE Borisov, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Wolfsburg, Dinamo Zagreb, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Gent, Malmö, Astana

Out of those eight groups, Group D is the most dangerous as it has Manchester City, Juventus, Sevilla and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

English Champions were drawn in Group G alongside Portuguese giants FC Porto alongside Ukraine side Dynamo Kyiv and Israeli side Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

Manchester United have got a relatively easier draw as they were clubbed with Dutch Champions PSV Eindhoven, CSKA Moscow and German side VFS Wolfsburg.

Arsenal, on the other hand have got a tricky fixture as they have five-time Champions Bayern Munich, Greek Champions Olympiacos and Croats Dinamo Zagreb in their group.

Ten Time European Champions Real Madrid have been drawn with French Champions Paris Saint-Germain, Ukraine’s Shakthar Donestk and Swedish Champions Malmo.

Defending Champions have got an easier draw alongside Bayer Leverkusen, AS Roma and BATE Borisov.

Group C is the most open group with Portuguese Champions Benfica, Finalists from 2014 Atletico Madrid, Turkish Champions Galatasray and Kazak side Astana. Astana also created history by becoming the first team to play in the UCL from Kazakhstan.

Group H will be the most exciting group with Russian Champions Zenit St Petersburg, Valencia, Lyon and Gent in it.

This is the first time that five teams from Spain are represented in the Champions League.

Group A: Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Malmo

Group B: PSV Eindhoven, Manchester United, CSKA Moscow, Wolfsburg

Group C: Benfica, Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray, Astana

Group D: Juventus, Manchester City, Sevilla, Borussia Mönchengladbach

Group E: Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Roma, BATE Borisov

Group F: Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Olympiacos, Dinamo Zagreb

Group G: Chelsea, Porto, Dynamo Kyiv, Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Group H: Zenit st. Petersburg, Valencia, Lyon, Gent
