Michael Essien!! The beast is finally back at Chelsea. Last season when there was an argument between players, only the defenders of Chelsea had to come and talk to referee/push and boss the opposition.. The likes of Oscar, Mata, Hazard, Moses do not know what to do..nor do the new guys Van Ginkel, De Bruyne, Schurrle etc.. but now, the BEAST is BACK. Expect some muscle at the heart of Chelsea’s midfield this season!
Chelsea and Inter battled it out in the quarter-final of the Guinness International Champions Cup, a pre-season friendly competition last night which saw Inter’s Hugo Campagnaro sent off due to his horrendous tackle on Chelsea captain John Terry. The incident happened in the 58th minute after Terry and Campagnaro challenged for the same ball. After the ref showed the Red Card, just look out for Essien in the video below. It’s not that a big deal, but yes, the beast was in the middle of things. Things like these were missing at Stamford Bridge last season.
