Chelsea are one of the few sides yet to be beaten in the league this season and will be full of confidence going into the game against Southampton this weekend. The Blues are on the back of a midweek Europa League victory and will be buoyed by travelling to the St. Mary’s stadium.

Southampton have lost each of their last six matches against Chelsea, with three of those coming last season. St. Mary’s has been a happy hunting ground for the Blues, who have lost just once in their last 11 visits to the stadium.

The Saints are also winless in 25 Premier League clashes against the big six. Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri could become the sixth manager to remain unbeaten in his first eight Premier League games. The London club are playing an expansive style of football under the former Napoli coach.

Mark Hughes definitely needs to be wary of Eden Hazard, who is in fiery form at the moment. The Blues are a free-scoring side, with 15 goals to their name so far, while Southampton have conceded a total of 11 goals in their 7 games.

It’ll be interesting to see how this game turns out but it looks like it is going to be Chelsea’s day at St. Mary’s.
