Could Scott Sinclair’s Emotional Dream Come True When Celtic Take On Hearts?

Scott Sinclair All Set To Realise His Dream Of Winning The Title With Celtic

Celtic attacker Scott Sinclair is eager to wrap up the Scottish Premiership title as soon as possible after the international break. The Bhoys can seal the title triumph on the 2nd of April, when they face Hearts at the Tynecastle Stadium if they manage to win the game.

The former Manchester City and Swansea City man is keen to confirm what is a mere formality at the place where it all began for him at Celtic. The winger came off the bench to score a late winner away to Hearts within a week after completing his move from Aston Villa and has never looked back from thereon.

Sinclair has gone on to score 15 goals from 25 Premiership appearances this season and has played a huge role in Celtic’s domination in the league this season that sees them sit 25 points ahead of second-placed Aberdeen.

The Bhoys can clinch their sixth title in a row with a win against Hearts and could even have it in the bag before the game itself, if second-place Aberdeen lose to Dundee.

Ahead of what could be a memorable clash, Sinclair said:

“For me, coming on and scoring the winner, I’ve got good memories there, so hopefully I can make more good memories by winning the title there.”

Reminiscing the feelings that he went through when he came on and scored that winner back in August, Sinclair went on to say:

“It seems such a long time ago now. I wasn’t too sure if I was going to be making the bench, it was so fast.

“I literally had the scans and before I knew it I was on the bench. I wasn’t really thinking I was going to be involved and came on and scored the winner.

“I couldn’t have written it any better. It was great to hit the ground running.”

Celtic have been brilliant in the Scottish Premiership this season and are yet to taste defeat. In 29 games, they have won 27 matches and drawn two. The Bhoys have been prolific in front of goal, scoring 76 and have been equally solid at the back, having let in a meagerly 18 goals.

Celtic have gone up against Hearts, twice this season in the Premiership and have come up trumps on both occasions. The first time they met at the Tynecastle, James Forrest put the Bhoys in the lead early in the game, only for Jamie Walker to equalise from the spot. When the game looked like it was heading towards a draw, it was Sinclair who clinched it with a winner in the 81st minute.

In the return fixture at the Celtic Park, Sinclair was at it again, scoring a double with Callum McGregor and Patrick Roberts also getting themselves on the score sheet, as the Bhoys went onto thrash the Hearts 4-0.

Against a club that he has had a great scoring record this season, Sinclair could very well realize his dream of clinching the trophy after the international break and may well play a starring role as the title triumph comes closer for Celtic.
