Daniel Sturridge – Almost A Red Now

According to BBC, Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge is set to undergo medical at Anfield today ahead of his reported £12million move.

It is believed that Liverpool have agreed a deal with Chelsea and also completed negotiating personal terms with the player, who will be earning £60,000 a week at Anfield. However, the move is unlikely to be finalized until January when the transfer window officially opens.

The 23-year-old England international arrived on Merseyside  after a disagreement between Liverpool and his agents was finally resolved.

After the likes of Andy Carroll, Dirk Kurt and Craig Bellamy have left the merseyside club, Luis Suarez is the club’s only registered forward. The signing of Sturridge will come as a huge boost to Rodgers who wants to strengthen his squad in January.
