This draw extends United’s unbeaten run to 9 games in the league but they will now have to turn their attention to the League Cup semi-final against Hull City at the KCOM this week.
The Tigers fell to a 2-0 defeat in the first leg at Old Trafford and they will hope to put in a stronger fight at home in the second leg. Manchester United, with a 2 goal advantage, are expected to set up a final against Liverpool or Southampton but Marco Silva’s side are sure to put on a fight which might trouble the Red Devils.
