Deal done? Chelsea agree terms for a Bundesliga Left-Back

West London outfit Chelsea are all set to complete their third signing of the current transfer window, after the agent of their defensive target Baba Rahman confirmed that a deal had been agreed with the Blues. However, the Premier League giants are still trying to confirm a fee for his services with Bundesliga side Augsburg.

Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho is looking for more defenders to add to his squad, after the departure of Filipe Luis to Spain. The Brazilian moved back to his former club Atletico Madrid after failing to make any sort of major impact at Stamford Bridge.

The English giants were able to recover the full £15.8m they paid for him in 2014 and will now use that pay to pay the German club, who are demanding a price of around £17.6m.

The 21-year-old superstar was given permission by the club to discuss personal terms with Chelsea and now the deal will be completed once the two clubs can fix an amount to be paid. Sascha Empacher spoke to Sport Bild and said, “It is only the clubs that have to find an agreement. We on our side are agreed.”
