Liverpool player Martin Skrtel is set to leave the Reds this summer and head to Fenerbahce in a £5m transfer deal.
Skrtel joined the Reds in 2008 and is one of the longest serving players currently in the squad. However, since the arrival of manager Jurgen Klopp Skrtel has run out of favor at the Reds having gone down the pecking order, further the signing of Joel Matip has further confirmed that his contract at the reds has ended.
According to the Telegraph, the Merseysiders accepted a £5m bid by Fenerbahce for the Slovakian player, who will be finalizing the deal within a few days time.
The player was being looked out by three clubs with regards to a potential move, Fenerbahce being one of them which includes Wolfsburg and an unnamed Chinese club.
Thus the 31 year old player will now be joining Nani and Robin Van Persie, who are currently playing at the Turkish side.
