Standing at the top of the table for the first team since taking charge of the Anfield outfit, Jurgen Klopp has already made a huge difference at Anfield and is now making the supporters dream about a Premier League title early this season. The manager bought in a number of star players to add to his starting XI while also changed a few things within the squad that has helped the side stay strong in the first 11 games of the season. One of the most productive changes that he made was to drop Spanish full-back Alberto Moreno and replace him with James Milner as a makeshift right back this season.

The former La Liga left-back started his career at Anfield with some impressive performance but always showed a bit of a weakness in his defending. As a full-back, Moreno is expected to first keep the Liverpool goal safe, and then add to the attack. He has been prolific and exciting in attack but has been more and more disastrous at the back the more he plays at the club. He played a huge role in a couple of goals for Sevilla in the Europa League final and left his team disappointed which seemed to be the final straw in his career at the club.

Liverpool were extensively linked to some of the best full-backs in Europe in the summer but Klopp did not find a player who fit the bill and decided to use Milner as a left-back. The English international has arguably been one of the best players in his position this season and his expertise at both ends of the field have helped the side to the top of the table. The last time Alberto Moreno played was in the league game against Crystal Palace and he was superb going forward in that 4-2 victory. He created more chances than any other Liverpool player in the first half of the game and showed that he is still an effective player. Though he showed some improvement at the back, he is still a long way away from becoming first choice for Liverpool so it will be interesting to see if Klopp decides to ditch him in the next two transfer market.

But with quality full-backs becoming rarer than a the Supermoons, Klopp will be well advised to keep Moreno at the club atleast till he finds one who can replace him. The Spaniard is still 24 and has a long career ahead of him. He will need regular playing time and will get it when Liverpool compete in Europe. He is not a mediocre player and has the trust of the manager at the moment, and though he is not the first choice at the club, he is the best option for the club to replace Milner with if required and unless Klopp can find someone who can walk into the first team, the manager is not selling the Spanish full-back.

Do you think Klopp will sell Moreno at the end of the season?
